I currently work as a producer at Berlin-based creative agency KMB. I have worked for clients such as Mercedes-AMG, smart, Jack Daniel’s and Timberland. My job involves both the realisation of video shoots and the post-production in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
As the video editor of German music monthly MUSIKEXPRESS, I was involved in the entire production process, dealing with every aspect from the initial idea to the final product. I produced video formats such as Blind Date, How To Pronounce …, Behind The Scenes, Das ME-1-Satz-Kommando, teaser videos for the new print issues as well as listings videos in After Effects.
Apart from providing videos for MUSIKEXPRESS, I also created video content for the German ROLLING STONE. High-profile interviews, acoustic sessions as well as formats such as Die 1-Euro-Kiste, Die letzte Reihe and Willanders Album des Monats were featured on their website and social media channels.
My daily tasks as online/ video editor at stern.de included the writing of scripts, teaser texts and producing short viral videos, documentaries and event films. I am capable of turning around videos overnight – as previously done for German women’s magazine BRIGITTE.
The discrimination of female music journalists is the central topic of WOMEN WRITING RIGHTS. It aims to promote gender justice in this area of the music industry by shedding light on the struggles of well-known female writers since the ‘70s, but also by celebrating their persistency.
